Anyone, including many good, innocent, law-abiding citizens can find themselves wrongly accused of DUI. The accusation crosses racial, gender and socioeconomic lines like no other crime. People accused of DUI have serious questions, and need serious answers.

The DUI Book is the first of its kind in Florida. Never before has a Florida DUI defense lawyer written a book for the purpose of answering the questions that real people have about DUI. Topics include arrest and bail procedures, how to find and interview DUI defense lawyers, the discovery process, driver’s license issues, and explanations of common issues arising under the law and evidence.

The Florida Edition of The DUI Book was co-written by Michael Kessler and nationally-renowned DUI lawyer William C. Head, using plain and simple English that is easy for the layperson to understand. There is no attempt at fancy writing, or use of arcane or complicated legalese; simply plain talk, straightforward answers to important questions.

This book is no substitute for an educated and dedicated DUI defense attorney. It is, however, a fine supplement that such an attorney, and his or her client, can put to very good use.
