Mr. Kessler was hired to defend my son, who resides in Michigan, for a DUI that occurred here in Florida over nine years ago. That defense was very satisfactory and my son returned home to Michigan. For reasons not divulged here, my son’s probation terms were not completed and a misdemeanor warrant was issued about 6 months later. Some eight years after that, with my son in his fifth year of sobriety, Mr. Kessler was hired to defend my son as he works through his program of amends to be made and his desire to demonstrate to his twelve year old son what is the right thing to do. My son returned to Florida and voluntarily turned himself in to the outstanding warrant. The outcome of the first appearance in county court was very satisfactory as Mr. Kessler was very instrumental in the ruling by the judge who assured all that justice will prevail when the hard work of keeping sober and “righting-the-wrongs” is clearly demonstrated.
