Working With The Best
A former client called me late last Wednesday night, seeking advice. Her son’s former wife had disappeared with their child, and four private investigators had tried to find her without success.
Could you please help me, she asked.
Of course, I told her. I only work with the best.
Within minutes, I was on the phone with Jeremiah Lyons, who had been the lead detective for the Casey Anthony defense team. I explained the situation, and the urgency. I made the introduction, and stepped aside.
Jerry was on a plane first thing Friday morning. By Friday afternoon, he had found her, and by Saturday he had confirmed where she lived, and that the child was with her.
I imagine the client paid a premium fee for the work. She should have. The job needed to be done. It had to be done right. It had to be done right away.
When a case requires the help of an investigator, a consultant or an expert of some kind, it doesn’t make sense to be pennywise and pound foolish.
I have worked with a firearms expert from Michigan, a breath alcohol testing expert from Wisconsin, and a former police officer from Saskatchewan, just to mention a few.
I only work with the best. My clients expect that, and they deserve it.
